The Disability Trust is currently running different Vacation Care programs throughout the NSW and the ACT. Participants attending Vacation Care do a combination of centre based activities and excursions. We run Vacation Care programs for children with disabilities every school holidays.
We support all abilities and participants have the option of purchasing 1:1 support or 1:3 support. We run groups for 6 to 11 year olds as well as groups for 12 to 18 year olds. All of our vacation care programs run from 8.30am to 4.30pm. We also have many social, recreational and sporting groups and camps available in the Illawarra for all abilities.

Active OT for Kids. We offer a range of different holiday programs including various trauma-responsive camps for children presenting with challenges associated to a trauma-response. Children will participate in a journey of connection to self, nature, culture and each other. They will explore, engage and problem solve in a beach and buch location without technology. Experiences include ocean and surf therapy, sensory exploration and story telling, creek side challenges, problem solving and sharing joy, building and exploring, cooking, swimming, and more! We also offer an OT Walkabout program and a Holiday intensive therapy.
Speech, trauma related mental and psychological issues
We are running a centre-based school holiday program for children with disabilities at Dundas Valley. We have nursing staff onsite and can manage children with complex medical and physical needs. We also have an online Zoom holiday program which runs on each of the mornings for 2 hours for children who are unable to make it to the centre.

Appropriate for people of all ages with a disability seeking equine therapy. Bensville also runs school holiday camps. Most camps can be booked for one day. We also have a great new five day camp program that will be amazing, fun and gives kids a great time to bond with our beautiful horses. Cost is $130 per day.
Free school holiday programs - Summer dates released 29th November 2021. We are looking forward to seeing you all with a combination off online and face to face activities. Equine therapy sessions run through the holidays. If equine therapy is booked out, then children are still welcome to come in for an hour session of groundwork where they spend time with the horses, grooming and working with the horses in whatever capacity they feel comfortable. Our horse-riding program, at The Outlook Riding Academy, Terrigal, offers a rich learning experience with indoor and outdoor education, individual and group exercises. This is the place for experiential learning on and off the horse. The clinics vary according to the season. Activities may include art and craft, sports games, guest instructors within the equine industry and team-building exercises.

Vision Gym Sports is a fun and inclusive gym designed to build up gross motor skills and keep kids active and healthy. They provide an NDIS funded private session for $70 an hour that gives children with a disability time for supported play, as well as free play time in the afternoons when the gym is quieter. Gym Sports' January school holiday program is open for registrations now!
National Parks NSW now provides TrailRider, an all terrain wheelchair free of charge for people of all ages wanting to experience what our national parks have to offer. Whilst the chair is free to hire, it requires two guides to operate and renters will need to bring their own guides.
Youthworks Holiday Camps are a great opportunity for kids and teens to get away for a week, packed with awesome experiences and plenty of new friends. Our JAM Camp for boys and girls gives kids a chance to test themselves and build new friendships.
Growing Early Minds offers a range of inclusive, fun, educational group programs and camps for children during school holidays. Our programs are limited to small groups so that every child receives close one-on-one support.

Looking for something fun and active to do with the kids these school holidays? Our Holiday Swim Program is the answer! It's designed to boost your children's swim skills in a short period, plus they get to enjoy time with their friends while gaining fitness and improving their swimming finesse.
The program includes a 30 minute lesson each day for a week (Monday to Friday). Concentrating on and practising skills daily makes a marked difference to kid's swim skills.
Be part of something special. Explore the world through a different lens. The moment you arrive at Camp Cooby, you can feel the energy and wonder of this magical location. We then add amazing kids together with our team for a super fun adventure and the energy just surges like a volcano! We offer Junior and Senior holiday programs. The Junior program is a great opportunity for them to learn how to build resilience, independence, and a sense of self-awareness through adventure play. The Senior progam aims to builds strength in teamwork and resilience, and teaches children how to thoughtfully get in touch with nature while challenging themselves. We also have a customised therapeutic camp for ages 7-13. The Therapeutic Camp is a program which helps children find their compass of life' and is designed for junior campers that may present with higher needs. Day Dream Explorers work with families who have members with a disability to provide the ultimate holiday experience. With their decked out 4WD minibus able to cater for a wide variety of needs, you have the flexibility to plan the holiday of your dreams. Multiple families and book together for a get away to reduce costs, trips are customizable and flexible to meet your families/individual needs.
Fun and interactive After School Care programs are held at Currimundi and Nambour Special Schools and are available to teenagers with a disability. Our Currimundi school holiday program is for our younger age group 6 – 12 years and our Maroochydore and Noosa programs are for Teens 11-17 years. We offer additional support hours if required and transport to and from the program. Clients can access support through NDIS Core Funding or CB Social and community participation budget. MindWare Psychology Adventure Program - Summer Senior Autism & Social Connections Camp. The Autism & Social Connectionc Camps are part of the 'Mindware Psychology Adventure Program (MAP) - Helping children find their compass of life' and are designed for campers that may present with higher needs.
The camp aims to help build the self-confidence, resilience and independence of its participants in a group setting through their participation in graduated outdoor activities.

Tea-Cup Cottage provides short and long stay respite for disabled children and adults, giving them the opportunity to play, learn and relax away from their usual routine. Care respite locations are open 24/7. Their school holiday Program will be running Monday-Friday 9am-3pm (Transport can also be organised to and from the Program) beginning 13/12/21 – 21/01/22 (excluding public holidays). We are inclusive to everyone and are happy to chat over the phone or in person with parents or carers regarding the support requirements for their young person. Our age group runs from 6-16 years and we will be running our program from Birkdale.
Our program includes a variety of community based activities (local swimming pool, museum and lots more) as well as group activities in our centre (cooking, arts and crafts, treasure hunts and more) in Birkdale.
TAG 5 camps give you the chance to try exciting new experiences outside of your everyday life. They also have the added bonus of giving parents and carers the opportunity to relax and recharge.
Our camps accommodate most people with a disability whether you are independent or require one-on-one support. All camps are wheelchair accessible and we are able to cater to your dietary requirements. Camps are held at a number of established campsites throughout South East Queensland. All our campsites have wheelchair access.
We offer different camps throughout the year to suit you. We host a weekend camp every fortnight and organise a range of camps each school holiday. The camps we offer are: Weekend Camps (Fri – Sun), 3, 4 or 5 day School Holiday Camps (Mon – Fri)
On camp, you will be able to participate in fun outdoor activities that will help you to build independence, self-confidence and friendships. Camp activities will vary depending on location, time of year and weather, however, our activities frequently include swimming, body boarding, kayaking, jet skiing, hiking, rock climbing, sport, board games, arts and crafts, fishing, bonfires and more!
Sense Rugby Holiday Intensive program. The groups is a hands on group where parents are involved to help support the individualised modifications all practiced within the situation of a 'team' or group. Cost is $60 per session. YMCA Adelaide North OSHC provides Vacation Care (school holiday care) for children aged 5 to 17 years with intellectual disabilities. We offer a wide range of supervised, fun-filled activities on site as well as excursions and incursions between 8am and 6pm during school holidays. YMCA Brisbane also offers YMCA Camp Warrawee offers 30+ adventure activities that can be tailored to meet your school camp and group camp outcomes.
Intellectual Disabilities, ASD
Autism SA offers eight weeks of school holiday programs over the year including an aqua skills group, mind and body group, a handwriting group, a summer fun group, as well as a kids and teenager program. Families registered for short term accommodation services are offered the opportunity to make selections from the scheduled activities prior to the school holiday period. Each day's programmed activities cater for up to eight children per activity. Staffing ratios are individually assessed and usually range from 1 Staff: 1 child, to 1 staff: 4 children depending on the activity and needs of the children.

Gateways offers a wide range of fun and exciting recreation and skills development programs for children and adults with a disability. Gateways Support Services’ high-quality recreation and camps programs build skills while providing loads of fun for children, teenagers and adults with a disability. Our holiday program activities will run from Wednesday 05th January – Monday 24th January, with days predominantly running from 9am-3pm. We have capacity for Teenagers (both in house or out in the community), and Children (both in house and in the community), in which we support a range of participants with different support levels, as well as groups for our high functioning ASD participants. We will also be offering a couple of weekend activities for adult participants. Activities are based from either Barwon Valley school, or Gateways PLACE in North Geelong.

Giving Tree is an all-inclusive holiday program for children with and qithout disabilities. Their goal is to promote inclusion from a young age! Giving Tree will be running an Explorers Day camp for children between the ages of 2-10. What to expect: disability and cinlusion training, opportunities to learn new skills, having a positive impact on people's lives, meet awesome likeminded people and have lots of fun! They can support children with high and low support requirements. Location TBC but will be around Caulfield, Malvern, Elsternwick, Elwood, St Kilda area.
At the end of each term we run a variety of school holiday programs to entertain and educate our Irabina kids (as well as give their parents and carers a break!). The programs vary between day-trips and daily sessions, and provide the kids with an opportunity to make friends, practice their skills and try new experiences in a safe, fun and supportive environment.

A packed 2 week holiday day program for primary and highschool students. Activities include day trip to the wildlife park, movies, participating in arts and cooking, tempin bowling, mini golf and more with all sessions costing $20. Also on offer is a Kidz weekend recreation program which is a social and community recreational group that offers school aged participants with a disability who have NDIS funding the opportunity to participate in community recreational activities. A School holiday therapy group running January 2022 is on offer. These small intensive groups are led by our experienced Therapy Team. Our groups offer an opportunity for children to review and consolidate learnt skills, and to develop new skills under the guidance of Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists.
Join Spectrum Space’s Telethon Holiday Makers Program for individuals aged 5 – 18 years on the autism spectrum these school holidays! Our holiday program offers a range of activities in a natural social environment where participants have the opportunity to meet like-minded peers and have some new fun experiences along the way.
We have a full calendar of activities planned including bouldering, rocket building, roller skating, indoor trampolining, visiting the WA Art Gallery and Perth Zoo and so much more.

Edmund Rice Camps for Kids WA Inc (ERCKWA) is a non-profit community based organisation that serves the needs of children aged 7–16 and their families. A typical Mega Camp involves small group games, crafts, sports, word games, a skit night or even a disco or our infamous jelly games. Multi-choice times allow kids to pick up the football, try their hand at finger-knitting or whatever else they prefer. There’s never a dull moment on an Eddie Rice program! A constant throughout is lots of delicious home cooked and nourishing food.
All of our ERCWA activities are based on a 1:1 volunteer to child ratio to give the children much-needed one-on-one time.
Cahoots creates inclusive opportunities for children and young people living with disability and others that face exceptional challenges to develop friendships, skills and confidence. Dec camps not yet released.

The NSW Government is helping kids get creative with the new Creative Kids program.
Parents, guardians and carers can apply for a voucher with a value of up to $100 per calendar year for each student aged 4.5 to 18 years old enrolled in school.
The voucher may be used with a registered activity provider for registration, participation and tuition costs for creative arts, speech, drama, dance, digital design, coding, and music lessons and activities.
The voucher can be used at any time during the calendar year it was issued.
COVID-19 brought updates to the voucher's use as follows:

- Creative supplies, equipment and materials through approved Creative Kids providers.
