3. Will I face a Verification or Certification Audit?
A Verification audit is required for all NDIS providers that deliver lower risk/lower complexity supports and services.
A Certification audit is required for all NDIS providers that provide more complex or higher risk supports and services.

4. What documentation do I need?
The NDIS Practice Standards create an important benchmark for providers to assess their performance, and to demonstrate how they provide high quality and safe supports and services to NDIS participants.
To comply with the verification module of the NDIS Practice Standards, providers must show evidence of:
- Relevant qualifications, expertise and experience
- Incident management processes/policies
- Complaints management processes/policies
- Risk management processes/policies
5. What Insurance do I need?
All providers are required to hold a valid certificate of currency for:
- public liability insurance,
- professional Indemnity and
- accident insurance (Workers Comp or Personal Accident Insurance)

The NDIS Code of Conduct applies to all NDIS providers, registered and unregistered, and all persons employed or otherwise engaged by an NDIS provider.
