Brisbane Whale Watching 

From July to November, Brisbane is visited by the most magnificent animals on the planet, humpback whales. Brisbane Whale Watching is well equipped to accommodate guests in wheelchairs, with disabled bathrooms and special procedures to ensure everyone gets to see the frolicking giants.

Brisbane Explorer Bus

With ramps on the back of every bus and a dedicated space for wheelchairs, Brisbane Explorer Bus tours will have you exploring Brisbane’s top sights. The hop-on-hop-off tour takes visitors to hot spots like Chinatown, the Brisbane Lookout and the Cultural Centre. 

Queensland Art Gallery & Gallery of Modern Art

Feel inspired by a visit to Australia’s largest gallery of modern art, GOMA. The internationally-acclaimed gallery has seen exhibitions featuring everyone from Andy Warhol to Valentino. The gallery has disabled facilities, ramps and lifts throughout and wheelchair hire. 

South Bank

With 17 hectares of lush parkland, a beach with city views, al-fresco restaurants and year-round events, South Bank is one of Brisbane’s favourite places to unwind. Facilities and access to the parklands are designed to accommodate wheelchairs. They can also be hired from the Visitor Information Centre.

Brisbane City Hall

One of Brisbane’s oldest and most architecturally stunning buildings,  City Hall can be explored via wheelchair. While you’re there, take the lift up to the Museum of Brisbane and learn the ins and outs of our beautiful river city.

Brisbane Botanic Gardens

Located at Mt Coot-tha, the 56 hectare sub-tropical garden features countless plant species and a range of beautiful displays, including a Japanese garden and tropical dome. The gardens offer wheelchair facilities and access. Download the mobility map for more information.
