CODE OF CONDUCT

Access Care Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 786 098 36679) trades as both "MyCareSpace" and "The A List Hub". 

Our company Code of Conduct, applies to both MyCareSpace and The A List Hub

MyCareSpace is a free community service that connects people living with a disability, their families and carers, with easy-to-read information about the NDIS and with the disability supports they need to live full and independent lives. The A List Hub is an Online Platform of autism friendly activities Australia-wide and social hubs where neurodivergent young people can hang out and socialise in a way that suits them. Our Social Hub Programs are group activities designed to provide a safe space for autistic, neurodivergent young people and teens to connect. Our Programs encourage the formation of friendships, and assist Participants in developing of self-confidence and socialisation skills. We expect our staff, volunteers, service providers and customers to uphold the Code of Conduct that is aligned with the NDIS Code of Conduct. You agree to:

Respect and Dignity

  • Treat all staff, volunteers, service providers, and other customers with courtesy and respect.
  • Avoid discriminatory, offensive, or abusive language and behavior.
  • Acknowledge and respect the diverse backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs of others.

Communication

  • Communicate openly, honestly, and respectfully with Access Care Australia Pty Ltd staff and service providers and other customers.
  • Provide accurate and timely information about your needs and circumstances.
  • Listen actively and respond appropriately during interactions and meetings.

Privacy and Confidentiality

  • Respect the privacy and confidentiality of others.
  • Do not share personal information about other customers without their explicit consent.
  • Handle sensitive information with care and in accordance with privacy laws and Access Care Australia policies.

Participation and Engagement

  • Engage actively and constructively in your service planning and delivery.
  • Provide feedback on services received to help us improve.

Safety and Well-being

  • Act in a manner that ensures your safety and the safety of others.
  • Report any safety concerns or incidents to Access Care Australia staff immediately.
  • Refrain from engaging in behaviors that could harm yourself or others.

Cooperation and Collaboration

  • Work cooperatively with Access Care Australia staff and service providers.
  • Address any conflicts or disagreements in a constructive and respectful manner.

Responsibility and Accountability

  • Take responsibility for your actions and decisions.
  • Acknowledge and address any mistakes or misunderstandings promptly.
  • Follow Access Care Australia policies and procedures, including this Code of Conduct.

Feedback and Complaints

  • Provide feedback to help us improve our services.
  • Raise any complaints or concerns promptly and through the appropriate channels in line with our Complaints policy for both A List and MyCareSpace.
  • Participate in the resolution process for any complaints or issues raised.

Our Preferred NDIS Plan Manager

Plan Hero Plan Management is our preferred NDIS Plan Manager because they are independent and specialist Plan Managers who have both lived experience and expert NDIS knowledge. Plan Management is all they do!
