Lighting lives
Is a NSW and ACT based NDIS provider founded by health care professionals with extensive experience working with people with physical and mental health disability in hospital and community setting. The expertise of founders and their experienceas disability workers enabled them to create an organization with staff who have strong background in care.
Our uniqueness lies in focusing on the strengths of the participants and nourish it while they are part of the organization. The current services include accommodation, community nursing, in-patient support, hi-intensity personal care, comm unity nursing, hi-intensity personal care, transport, and community participation. The organization aims at engaging with the participants, and strengthening their skills thereby support their recovery.

Lighting Lives was recommended as a professional organisation that may meet my needs as far as care home provision and support for my nephew. After discussion with our support coordinator I spoke with the principles of Lighting Lives and viewed the possible care home and made the decision to engage Lighting Lives to undertake the care of my nephew. He is high care and since moving into the home his medical and personal needs have been managed really well. The on-site carers seem to be competent in their work and we have been welcomed into the house when we visit. Given our experience with Lighting Lives I would recommend to anyone needing this type of care in the community.
