HI, WE ARE ABLE-i
We focus on helping participants and families build the skills, confidence, and independence needed to thrive in everyday life.
ABLE-i supports children, teens, and adults and older adults.
Our services include
• Early Childhood Specialist (Key Worker)
• Physiotherapy
• Therapy Assistant
• Support Work
• Short Term Accommodation
When participants and their families work with us, they gain practical strategies that can be used at home, at school, or in the community. Our team works closely with participants, parents, carers, and educators to make sure support doesn’t just happen during sessions. It carries over into daily routines where real progress happens.
We understand that navigating disability supports can feel overwhelming. That’s why we prioritise clear communication, collaborative goal setting, and personalised therapy, so families feel supported and confident in the strategies being used.
Our Key Workers:
• Help children stay calmer during transitions like leaving the house, starting kinder, or changing activities
• Support children to become more independent with daily routines such as dressing, toileting, and mealtimes
• Help children communicate their needs and feelings so they experience less frustration
• Improve coordination and movement skills needed for play, sport, and everyday activities
• Support children to play with others, take turns, and build friendships
Our Physiotherapists support with:
• Improving strength, balance, and coordination
• Increasing mobility and physical confidence
• Hands-on therapy and physical assessments
• Play-based movement development for children
• Falls prevention and functional exercise for older adults
