Short term accommodation in Gold Coast | Respite - charged at 1:1. | Paid for: accommodation, breakfast, lunch / dinner, 1 drink per main meal | 1 major activity per day eg.  trip to any Gold Coast theme parks, or movie / any attraction available in any places the participants want to go.  Day trips to Byron Bay are also popular.  Participants only pay for: additional drinks, snacks, and souvenirs. 

Participants from outside Gold Coast: includes cost of return-flight to Melbourne and Gold Coast (excluding WA).

STA funding: used for multiple support workers, service coordinators, community workers and therapy assistant hours as required for planning / duration of STA. Also covers: most support costs eg. accommodation, food, valued activities, and transport support to / from STA.  Not a holiday but a crucial disability support.
