22 signs that depression might be coming back?

back of a mans head

Are the signs there but you just won't admit it to yourself? But sometimes hearing about others can help us admit to ourselves that we need  help. How can we recognise the signs and put a plan in place for when they reappear from no where?

Do you know where to get help in the case of an emergency and where will you draw the line before getting help? These are all  questions to ask when times are good and before the haze of depression hits. Lifeline saves lives - please call 13 11 14 in the case of an emergency.

So  does any of the following sound familiar:

  • Getting irritated all the time and very easily?
  • Feeling lonely?
  • Tired and lack energy?
  • Having throughts of suicide?
  • Feeling anxious?

For some people these are red flags used to identify when it was time to get help. The Mighty asked its mental health community to share their top red flags. Read here to see what people shared.
