What are Core Supports?

Your NDIS CORE SUPPORTS funding is put in your NDIS plan to help you work towards your long-term goals, but more importantly to help you or your child increase their independence and make your everyday life more accessible.

This is the most flexible budget because you can use your funding across any of the following 4 support categories (in most cases - unless the line item is stated/in-kind). 

What does NDIS plan managed mean?

Once you have approval for the NDIS, you will have a planning meeting where a Local Area Coordinator (LAC) or Planner will gather information from you to create your  NDIS Plan, during this meeting, you need to decide how you wish to manage your funds/plan.

What is an NDIS PACE plan?

In 2023 the NDIS built a new computer system called PACE, to replace the MyPlace Portal and MyNDIS participant portal. This system was trialled in Tasmania before rolling out nationally.
