Frank Stephen's talks from the heart about the 'final solution' and the deeply prejudiced and outdated views that some people have around the final solution for people with Down Syndrome. In this speech he is imploring a Congress Committee  to fund research into Alzheimers, and focus on making the world Alzheimer free not Down Syndrome free!

In his own words Frank says:'
' I have a great life, I have lectured at uni, acted in an award winning film, been in an EMI winning TV show and spoken to thousands of students about the value of inclusion. I have been to the White House and I not need to jump the fence!! I dont feel like I should have to justify my existence.'

' To those who question the value of people with Down Syndrome. Here are 3 good reasons:

1. We are a medical gift, a blue print to research into cancer, alzheimers and others
2. We are an unusually powerful source of happiness. A Harvard Study based on people with Down Sydnrome and their families found they were eight times happier than society at large
3. We are the canary in the genetics coalmine - giving the world a chance to think about the ethics of who get the right to live!

We make the world a happier place, is there really no place for us in the world or in the NIS budget. My extra chromosome could lead to answers about Alzheimers. '
