Challenge Start Up Program
Start Up is an 18 month program which seeks to establish new forms of employment options according to strengths, interests and abilities of the young people involved.
We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking young adults to change the way we think about employment.
If you have new ideas, if you love a challenge and you are motivated to find work, this is the program for you!
Our goal is for each participant to establish a microbusiness and/or undertake gig economy opportunities. This will be driven by the young person who will be supported with training on safety, disability rights, consumer rights, business skills, communication and social media.
Commitment is one day per week for 18 months. You need to live in the Newcastle or Hunter region of New South Wales.
This program is fully funded - participants do not need NDIS funding.
Applications Close 12 October 2018.
