Frequently Asked Questions
The NDIS price guide is officially called the Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits (PAPL) and sets the maximum prices registered NDIS providers can charge for supports and services. It is updated each financial year, usually in late June and takes effect from 1 July. The current version is 2025-26 v1.1, effective 24 November 2025.
The 2026-27 PAPL is expected to be published in late June 2026 and take effect on 1 July 2026. MyCareSpace updates its price search tool as soon as the new rates are released.
Yes. NDIS price limits are maximum prices, not fixed prices. Plan-managed participants can often negotiate lower rates, especially for regular ongoing services where providers value consistent bookings.
Different supports have different price limits because they require different qualifications, registrations, insurance, supervision and operational costs. Allied health professionals such as OTs, psychologists and speech pathologists therefore have higher allowable rates than support workers.
Most NDIS therapy supports such as speech pathology, occupational therapy and psychology are GST-free. However, some supports may include GST. If GST appears on an invoice and you're unsure why, ask your provider or plan manager for clarification.
