Sydney MCS is an approved NDIS provider and providing a range of community services since last 36 years.
Sydney MCS is one of the leading Community based Not for Profit organisation and a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 45325) specialising in Community Services training and Service provision for people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Backgrounds (CALD). We deliver services in Aged Care, Disability, Migrant and refugee settlement and number of community inclusion programs. We are one of the 21 consortium members of the NSW Settlement Partnership (NSP) covering a range of community services programs in over more than 16 languages for Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, Sydney City, Inner West region and the Lower Northshore areas. As an approved NDIS provider, we provide the following NDIS services:
- Assistance with daily life - with and/or supervising personal tasks of daily life to enable you to live independently.
- Social and recreational activities - to enable you to independently engage in social and recreational activities.
- Group based activities - to enable you to engage in the community, social and recreational activities in a group.
- Social and Community participation - support with participation in skills based learning to develop independence in accessing community.
- Support to maintain secure living arrangements - to ensure that you obtain/retain appropriate accommodation.
- Support coordination
Our expertise is in providing language specific and culturally appropriate services to CALD communities. All our Sydney MCS staff including carers come from a CALD background who speak more than one language other English and are highly skilled to work with you as NDIS participants and/or with service providers to ensure NDIS participant receive full support and information to exercise better ‘choice and control’.
