About Us

Civic is a non-profit organisation supporting people with disability. Founded in the 1950s by a group of parents caring for their children with disability in the Sutherland Shire, Civic now provides whole-of-life services in many NSW locations, while remaining true to the values that inspired its creation. We are proud to have supported people with disability for over 60 years and recognise that being invited into the lives of others is an honor and a privilege. For the past six decades, people have been, and remain, at the heart of everything we do. We take pride in delivering quality services and support to customers and families - giving them every opportunity to lead the lives they want.

Civic’s community programs allow you to explore new places, connect with friends, learn new skills, and participant in new life experiences. Choose from a variety of group based activities, from Hub programs, day trips, cooking, fitness, adventures in the great outdoors and more, there’s something for everyone.

Civic currently has a range of career opportunities across our sites. From café services, cleaning and lawn mowing crews, administration and warehouse production, Civic has the perfect job for you.

Housing

We can help you to find dedicated NDIS supported disability accommodation in Sydney.

Currently there is a shortage of disability accommodation in Sydney, leaving those who need it without the support they require. If you have housing requirements on your NDIS plan, get in touch with us and we will try to find you the accommodation you need, or view our current accommodation vacancies.
