What is the new TTP (Temporary Transformation Payment) for NDIS Service Providers? | MyCareSpace

What is TTP for NDIS Service Providers?

What is the TTP (Temporary Transformation Payment) for NDIS Service Providers?

In the NDIS Price List (Support Catalogue), TTP stands for Temporary Transition Payment. This payment is available to support providers (personal care and community access).

This is a conditional loading (increase in prices that can be charged) to help providers with any costs transitioning to the NDIS.

This support replaces the TPO Payment (Temporary Support for Overheads).

How does NDIS Provider TTP work?

Each applicable support item has a matching TTP item with a higher price. It includes a loading that will reduce by 1.5% each year.

In the support catalogue (NDIS price list):

  • The non-TTP items should be used by providers who are not compliant with the TTP conditions.
  • The TTP items should be used by providers who are compliant with the TTP conditions.

Who can be an NDIS TTP provider?

In order to get this payment, providers will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Be a Registered NDIS provider
  • Publish their service prices
  • Keep their contact details up-to-date on the Provider Finder
  • Complete an Agency-approved benchmarking survey each year

Do I need to register to be an NDIS TTP provider?

There is no formal registration for TTP providers

Providers need to show that they intend to meet the TTP requirements by making a claim through the TTP support item through the payment system.

When is the TTP effective from?

The payment is available from 1st July 2019 and providers have until 31st December to meet compliance requirements.  After that, providers must be compliant from the start of the financial year.

Where can I find more information about TTP?

Information about the TTP Payment can be found in the NDIS Price Guide (renamed NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits)

Important: Participants must agree to pay TTP prices

Before claiming the TTP price limit, providers and participants must discuss and agree to any proposed changes. This should be in your service agreement.
