Music Therapy is a profession that involves the intentional use of music to achieve functional and individualised goals to enhance a person's daily living skills. Our programs are delivered by music therapists professionally registered with The Australian Music Therapy Association.
Tuned in Music Therapy is an NDIS registered provider of music therapy. Our music therapy sessions are person-centred and designed for each individual using a blend of known and improvisational (created in the moment) music. Our music therapists use their musical skills and therapeutic knowledge to develop appropriate interventions to strengthen abilities and develop potential.
We have experience delivering individual and group programs for a range of age groups and disabilities including early intervention, autism spectrum disorder, adhd, physical and intellectual disabilities, stroke and brain rehabilitation, younger onset dementia and aged care.
We also offer music therapy at our studios in Brookvale and also offer programs in schools and health care facilities.
