Support Suite provides person-centred, individualised, confidential counselling and coaching sessions. Our service caters for people with disability, including NDIS participants, their families and carers.
At Support Suite we fundamentally believe that you are the expert in your own life. However, there are times in our lives where we might need some support to deal with issues or problems that make us feel overwhelmed. Counselling is a way to process your emotions and problems in a healthy and supportive way, with the goal of providing you with the tools and skills to cope with everyday life. Our counsellor can help you through challenging or difficult times by assisting you to identify your core issues and helping you find ways to cope better, though small changes in behaviour, improved communication styles or developing a set of skills that help you deal with difficult situations more easily.
Our counsellor has worked in the community services sector for over 25 years, primarily with people with disability, their families and carers. She holds a Master of Health Science (Developmental Disability) and Diploma of Counselling. The experience and expertise she has gained in Australia and the United Kingdom makes her a qualified counsellor and coach, with a passion to support people with disability achieve their goals.
