Sensory Rooms
Delight your senses and develop social skills, interaction and awareness of others, in one of 3 Rocky Bay Sensory Rooms. Rocky Bay’s state of the art Sensory Rooms are designed to increase sensory stimulation, enabling people with disability to interact with and control their environment in a gentle and relaxing way.
What happens in our studio?
Leisure Lifestyle & Learning Studio operates out of Mosman Park including an arts and crafts studio, woodworking room, media centre and a large kitchen. Enjoy projects in-house or in the community from cooking classes, furniture making, pottery, sewing or painting, or take it outdoors and do a tour of Fremantle, go surfing or visit the sights or an exhibition.
The members are proud of their annual Art Exhibition where part-proceeds of the money raised assists with purchase of clothing and transport for members of Bali not-for-profit disability service, Kupu Kupu, where in Indonesia, there is little or no government funding for people living with disability.
