The NDIS offers great opportunities for people with a disability to improve their lives, but not everyone has the knowledge, capacity and ability to reap those rewards. In my role as a Support Coordinator I use my skills, experience, knowledge and passion to support people with disabilities who might be getting lost in the process. I look for opportunities and inefficiencies through working together with clients, family members, support staff, service providers, boards and peak bodies.
Together, we develop customised solutions using both of our experiences, knowledge and connections to guide you or your loved to a self-directed life. The New Leaf Advisory Board and peak bodies provide strategic guidance and advice to guide best practice methods and initiatives. Examples of targeted initiatives include:
- ensuring your NDIS budget is working for you,
- improving on boarding processes for support workers and service providers,
- using work agreements to provide clarity within roles.

My relationships with clients are real, built on respect and commitment to supporting them. I am dedicated to empowering others and have a passion for personal development and improvement. I empower clients with the proper tools to take action in pursuit of their goals and ambitions. My 20-year public service career equipped me with skills in developing governance, managing committees, building extensive stakeholder relationships and managing large scale projects and programs. These skills, along with my qualifications in community services as well as project and financial management place me well to coordinate many aspects of client’s lived experiences.
Along with my partner of over 20 years, we have two handsome, virtuous and charming sons who have lived on Ngunnawal land in Canberra, all their lives. I enjoy spending time with the beautiful people in my life, having a laugh, exploring lands across Australia and the world and love playing golf, despite being quite terrible.
