Jordan Wainer Psychology
In my work I have found that people are often exploring how to heal, how to hold overwhelming experience, how to find some relief and understanding in the midst of psychological distress, how to navigate complexity in life and relationship.
My approach to therapy is reflective and relational. It is centred on the idea that through a caring, safe and confidential therapeutic relationship, a widened capacity to understand, come through and integrate experience can be developed.
My intention is to offer a therapeutic space in which each person’s unique experience is met with respect and compassion. Where aspects of experience which can be difficult to talk about have a chance to be heard.
I have experience working in community mental health, school, military and private practice settings. I have worked overseas and in Australia with varying presentations and underlying concerns
