Day to day, we deliver nearly 2,000 support services for people with disability, including children, teenagers, adults and seniors. Sunnyfield employs over 1,200 staff in NSW and the ACT, to deliver accommodation services, assistance with daily life, social and community participation, supported employment, skills development and support coordination.

Short and medium term accommodation (Respite)

Specialist Disability Accommodation SDA
Sunnyfield, in partnership with Edenbridge Property, is developing innovative Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) homes in Sydney, greater NSW and Canberra. The first new homes being built in Maroubra and Concord will be completed by mid-2021 and are specially designed to suit the needs of people with very high support needs who meet SDA eligibility criteria.
The new homes are architecturally designed and custom-built, with benefits of privacy, social inclusion, and on-site support. The homes will feature a range of living options, including shared living and private one-bedroom villas. Residents will be able to provide input into the personal design elements of their new homes.

School Holidays
You don’t need to go away to have a great holiday during the school break. Hotshots has everything you need to have loads of fun close to home with all sorts of super cool activities for children aged 7 – 12 and young people aged 13 – 17.
After School Care
We also deliver After School Care programs in Allambie Heights, New England and Tweed Heads, Monday – Friday during school terms.
Supported Play
There’s something about childhood friends that you just can’t replace. Sunnyfield is creating an opportunity for children with disability to meet new friends through Supported Play. This programs runs every 2nd Saturday, our Kemps Creek and Guildford Hubs will open the doors for kids to use our facilities and socialise with others from their community, whilst providing parents and carers a safe place to bring their kids.
Teens
Our social groups and school holiday programs are designed for people with disability aged 13 – 17 and jam-packed with loads of super cool activities, so you can go places, make new friends and get active.
Adults 18+
Our social groups for 18+ offer a range of healthy, active and adventurous activities to do and see. Expand social networks, try new things and get your kicks after six with a Sunnyfield social group.

Support Coordination
Sunnyfield’s Support Coordination team works in consultation with participants to optimise the usage of their NDIS funds by advising them about the flexibility within their plans and by connecting them to a range of service providers based on individual needs and goals.
Not every participant is eligible for Support Coordination, but participants can ask for it in their NDIS planning meetings.

Kingfisher House currently has 2 male residents, aged 25 to 39. The housemates love to cook and garden, spending most sunny afternoons pottering around the garden tending to the plants. In the evenings they like to take part in the at-home cooking program, learning to cook different types of dishes and meal prep. Apache House currently has 2 male and 1 female residents, aged 25 to 35. Walks along the beach are a favourite group activity amongst the housemates, and with the many Northern Beaches on your footsteps, there is plenty to explore. Back in the home, the food network is popular. Housemates love to learn new recipes and culinary skills to practice when making dinner.

The House currently has 2 female residents, aged 40 to 55. The housemates are a peaceful bunch preferring to keep a home that is tranquil and calm to escape the busy outside world. Both housemates love arts and crafts, creating beautiful pieces of work in their spare time. On weekends they love going to the movies or eating lunch out at their favourite café.
