Absolute gold for socially anxious children
Average: 5 (1 vote)

My three children all use SSO to connect socially with others via their passion of gaming. They are so keen to have their sessions every week and have developed such genuine connections with their support workers. I'm really grateful to have found this service, and so glad my kids have the opportunity to foster such quality relationships.

Thanks so much!

SSO has been a huge help to us over the last 2 years. Kiddo continues to benefit from and look forward to sessions. It's a great non-threatening way to work on tricky skills and a welcome confidence boost. The team has always been super patient figuring out how best to help. If anyone is thinking about it, I'd say pretty much any age, novices or pros, go for it.

A supportive way to practice social skills & be part of a team
Average: 5 (1 vote)

We began with SSO as an alternative to travelling for social development groups and it has quickly become a favourite part of my 16 y/o’s week. We began with 1 on 1 session to practice logging in and game details and now do groups sessions an hour a week. The SSO groups have allowed my son to actively practice frustration management and how to communicate clearly as the group achieves challenges in the games.
From the moment my son logs on there is laughter and learning-deciding on a game, where to start, what next. The social workers are inclusive and helpful and will always reach out to me when needed.
The SSO staff are professional, caring and are great communicators. I can’t speak highly enough about Hamish and the SSO crew.
