What we do
Hello and Welcome to Huckstepp Care Services!
Are you looking for a participant-focussed, consistent and passionate disability support service, one who has experience working a range of complex mental health and disability journeys?
I founded HCS (Huckstepp Care Services) in 2021 in order to support individuals in the community living with disability. HCS works with participants who are NDIS Plan or Self Managed, or who choose to privately fund their own supports. Currently, HCS is working with participants on:
Community Participation such as support attending social and recreational groups, nature walks and parks, shopping centres, support with managing community appointments, and so much more!
Household Tasks, including Gardening. HCS is passionate about nature and garden maintenance. HCS can assist with mowing, care of outdoor areas, and removal of reasonable green waste.
Fun and innovative Group Activities. HCS can facilitate innovative and fun group events, such as groups for bowling, movies, and park activities. HCS would love to hear what groups participants want to create and attend!
Development of Life Skills (including in shared living arrangements). HCS is passionate about assisting participants learn important and independent life skills such as cooking, cleaning, and household management.
Transport and mobility in the community. HCS understands that transport can be an obstacle to personal growth and development.
Assistance with Personal Activities such as assistance with morning routines, and prompting and assistance with personal hygiene.
