What we do

Therapy Gym in the Blue Mountains providing personalised exercise programs for people with health conditions, injuries & disabilities.

NDIS registered provider for Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology and Personal Training.

We provide personalised exercise progams for adults, teens & kids.

We have a large quality gym space that is air-conditioned, with all the best functional training equipment including a Concept 2 Rower, Ski Erg Machine, Resistance Bike, Treadmill, GHD Machine, Squat & Pull-up rigs, Bench Press station and more. We also have a pilates reformer.

We now offer kids therapy programs, run by our Accredited Exercise Physiologists.

Our programs are personalised so that we can focus on your child’s specific needs and also what they enjoy. The programs are great for developing balance, coordination, motor control, functional capacity and body awareness. They also promote the development of social skills by improving self-esteem and social integration.

We have lots of kids equipment and can make up some really fun activities and obstacle courses. We also have an interactive floor projection / virtual playground which makes learning and physical activity heaps of fun!

I suffered a stroke in 2009 and moved to Lawson in 2018.  To maintain my fitness I have been doing two personal training sessions (of an hour each) a week.

The sessions cover a warm-up, strength (i.e. lifting weights), a workout (several high intensity activities, for a number of rounds, varying each session) and some core strengthening exercises.

The exercises are challenging, but take account of my limitations (e.g. balance is not what it could be).

My availability varies each week, but that can redaily be accommodated.

Of particular importance is that my personal desires and goals are catered for - what do I like, what do I dislike, etc.

The trainers are all very pleasant, all the equipment I need is available, and the sessions are reasonably priced.

I would recommend this to others - whether disabled or not - who are looking for locally available personal training.

Sam trains my daughter and my daughter keeps wanting more and more. I find that Sam and her husband have created a space that strengthens the child in many ways, as well as the body.

I recommend this nurturing space from the perspective of having sent my daughter to many providers over many years, and none have really shown such engagement, respect, light heartedness and that X factor that has gifted my daughter the path that she needed all along. THANKYOU.

I highly recommend the team at Foundation Allied Health for their professionalism and genuine care of their clients. The team is comprised of exercise physiologists, personal trainers, and physiotherapists which is ideal as they can collaborate effectively and quickly.

The clinic has an excellent gym which is equipped to help people of all ages and with a wide variety of needs. As a health professional, several of my patients receive services through Foundation Allied Health and I've been very happy with the results that they consistently achieve. I'm sure you will too.
